posted by Petey at 2/27/2003 03:59:00 PM
hello. am back from achy soccer game.
1) meeting not confirmed, mostly 99%. need jack to inform first.
2) thanks for the monetary support.
3) meeting should be 2-ish, yeah, at someone's place for i-net access.
4) friend from melbourne has said wouldn't mind helping us around. has apartment, but only space for 2 more.
5) seems dale is renting an apartment for $375/wk in Sydney. So... that's a bit steep, and he says so too. Then again, with all of us squeezing in... hmz. Still, most people don't rent by daily or weekly basis.
6) yeah, seems to be it then.
7) thanks for hearing all this. *wan smile*
oh, and Jonathan Carroll's White Apples so rocks... I just wanna cry each time his beautiful prose just surrounds me, and I nod "Yes Yes Yes" like some orgasmic cry. It is that much pleasure.

yay! comic!
experimentation is good... but usually big heads aren't. pixies are meant to look tinny somehow tho.
iii> as in shading those lines in too? too bad about sword.
NZ is a great place. and it's not only hiking, believe you me. Wwl, how are your legs holding up? Are you actually game for it? When the last time you exercised? I can't ran 3 klick without stopping for sure. And really, the cold is no problem... it's only a difference in temperature. Nobody hikes in a bikini or thongs anyway.... wear more lah.
Gold coast... big budget? I think alice springs is very cheap... what with usually nobody visting them, and with no real reason to.
posted by direcow at 2/24/2003 11:09:00 PM
hmz. why shun sunday? actually you're shunning saturday, but that's another story altogether.
will get the sms out. oh, I did! whee!! heh. On the dot bro, on the dot.
1) reopening forums. should i just use phpbb? ah heck. i guess i will. bloddy invision is too troublesome. thanks guys. hope to see you all there. somehow. it's gonna be lonelier for me. but i think will conincide with next page?
2) art
i) prediliction for anal women? her head's VERY large, hair makes it more Margeish, and her hips... teh teh? hmz. why does she have attitude? i have no story, except the cup who's telling me she's drunk and took my offer to shave her belly hair as something insulting. oh well. trying to meld cyberpunk and fantasy... somehow the tattoos don't work tho. and that tube... looks like it's just wraped loosely over... it doesn't seem to be able to stay. very pert me guess. but yet not pert. don't look it. no feet.
ii) nice. good shading, the uneveness in eyes is perfect, great wrinkles, and.... no feet. haha. nice.
iii) very nice. I love it! it's coool. how do you do it? pray tell. but too bad the sword blade looks totally disconnect and out of place to the rest of the pic.
Trip: Narrow down flights. will be deciding on that day. I'm hinging on Sydney - Melbourne. Good mix of leisure and sights and action. and food. and an internal flight is like $99 per person only for virgin air. who knew? And... yeah. Maybe we scrap Aussie and go NZ... ah... heaven on earth.
ok... that be it...
AND ALL THAT JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forums: I'm for reopening the forums, since I never wanted them closed. But I will stick to my conviction that I've quit the forum, with the exception of the story comments.
Trip: I'm worried about meeting up with so many things to discuss, but with nothing to focus on... perhaps we could consolidate a few suggestions first? I know plane stuff has been narrowed down already.
posted by Petey at 2/22/2003 05:38:00 PM
admin = planning. nitty gritty. who we meet, if we meet, where we go, when we leave, what plane we take. note the sudden shift to commas.

i dunno. somehow i don't feel like banning anybody ever. it's not as if the most offending party didn't ever post anything constructive, but... aiyah, dunno what i'm saying.
trip: it depends. actually those who are ok with ANYTHING or wouldn't want to worry about the admin stuff needn't go..so... yeah.

shiiite! there seems to be a prob with blogger... good thing i checked the here anyway.
1) fragnetics friends. that's the only reason they'll pull me over right now. they do lose out in quite a bit, and with new "insider" status... who knows? Argh. I don't wanna make this decision. But april's soon up.
FORGIVING? huh? didn't get that, sorry.
Pete: i've found new forum software, more power than phpbb it seems. however, open or close: up to you. serious. even if you're never going to touch it again, or just touch the story comments. or is it too much to ask? maybe wwl: you tell me then... what would you prefer, oh neutral party. argh. wanna open the forum soon! must discuss survivor with liamxi! haha...oh well. I think Jami's pissed with the way we handled the forum, but if he's pissed i don't give a damn. Bono and HK's have mentioned missing the forum tho... and carebear16/that new guy. oh well. just giving you the facts.
Trip: meet soon good. next sat, sun? and erm... yeah. pete defer when?
Matric: I have no idea, usually 2nd or 3rd week july. So late june is also good.
WWL: lacking of hips? maybe it's inherent in the girls you prefer? i dunno, i cannot pass such judgement, just a flippant idea.
wwl: bounding? hmz... bounding too much makes it hard to aim. but perhaps so.

I'm all for giving DH a chance. Get it? "forgiving"? Hahahahaha. *sigh*
Seriously, if you feel DH is giving a better deal that Fragnetics, then go ahead. Whatever it is, I'm backing Chong's decision in the case of a tie vote... heh.
Forums.... sigh. We'll see how it goes.... But yes, we do need a story comments forum.
trip: I hope I didn't throw a clog into the gears - sabotage, essentially. Yes, we should meet. Soon.

Here's the story.
I've been talking to burnflare about life, the universe and webhosting.
thing is, BF has been using differenthost, like us. and now he's been drawn into their world.
yes, he's now one of them. he's been conversing regularly with watson, the guy from DH.
yes, we've been having problems with DH in the past (no probs thus far).. but i'm actually thinking of sticking with them and not moving. why?
1) SECRET: They are a non profit organisation. all profits go to the respective churches of the owners.
2) they've promised to move us to the fastest server they have... no downtime yet, for a long time.
3) 10% discount of whatever plan we choose, and yes, we are downgrading.
4) 100mbps line or something, as compared to Fragnetic's 10mpbs.
5) No need to move the whole shebang over <--- tough work this, uploading file by file again.
6) DH can handle the renewal of domain name easily, no wrangling about
7) The servers went down when the main dude went to BMT... so... and they guy in charge then got sacked.
8) i'm also used to the software they provide for webmasters... not sure if F'netics uses it too.
and unless F'tics can offer a better deal or something... I dunno... they might be old friends. I'm just laying the plans out for you guys.
i dunno.
I'm thinking of moving our forum to Dreamdestiny or something, let BF handle the problems... but then our 313 comments section will be stuck there, which was the basic idea for the forum. how?
tell me what you guys think. thanks.

“ Ideas are like dust and lint
They ceaselessly appear
Churned out dirty from the mint
They choke the atmosphere
It's easy to detect them
They are coating every surface
The trick is to collect them
And to make them serve a purpose
To separate the choicest bits
To pound and sand and scrape them
To wad them up and make them stick
To polish and reshape them
Peeling, padding, painting, poking
Pressure, glue and heat
Strongarm tactics, gentle coaxing
Charges and retreats
To add, subtract, adjust, combine
To trim but not diminish
And most of all, to draw the line
That says the thing is finished ”
- Dave Grossman, co-writer, MI1, MI2, DOTT
just some padding before i start my typing proper.
-------------------------------------------------
wwl: i'm not sure if I revealed any preference for the pictures. however...
I guess my preference would go with 2 and 3.
hmz... i guess if you look at 1 carefully, it's actually an ugly girl.. or a somewhat manly girl. Or a crossdresser. Thing is, why are you afriad that they look gay? that's your style isn't it? all happy, gay, and bishi?
*ahem*
And seriously, not everything you see in your mind's eye will come out as imagined. how many times has what you saw and what you draw come out to be the same? all the time? is this the first transgression? no right? They why flog the child ? The poor thing.
Right hand doesn't look indistinct, due to the fact that her background is so bright and cheery. Makes her hand look hairy, like some sort of remade. The eys are crooked, the chin points in the wrong direction, the monocle is disconcerting, her posture looks very stiff, her legs are very fat for the rest of her body (are you a fan of J'lo?), her hips, are they missing?, why is there an indentation on her shiny left shoe, left shoe ankle dynamics do look a little off, and her breasts, as much as they are meant to be braless, and thus sag in that pert, normal way, do seem to be in disagreement with each other, what with them not wanting to be close friends anymore. one nipple points straight at the looker, but the other points slightly upwards. well, then again, no breasts are perfect, yeah? except.. well..... you complete the sentence wwl.
oh, and the shoes aren't exaclty very comfortable cos of the toe cap that extends just as the ball of the foot lands. it should be uncomfortable.
six feet under. you have broadband, so just d/l that one episode. six feet UNDER, not deep. erm... it's about a porn star who died, and when she was having her service, her lover asked that she be braless... but since she had implants, they somehow hardened or something, causing the breasts to point in different directions. In a sudden burst of creativity, the mortician (that's the guy who does it right?) puts 2 cans of cat food under each breast to hold them up proper. somehow. You've done breasts proper before, you can do it again. maybe you need to stop drawing so many pretty boys? or try to learn from real life examples. you know, look around you, in the train, at work, at the person next to you. however, i like the staple guns.
pete: you're right, the guy needs to lean back or look to be flinching. then again, maybe he's cool in the line of fire.
trip: ok... we can move it forward now, considering we mayn't be meeting victor. but can we discuss this and finalise this all at one go one day? more or less? and yeah... maybe should avoid independence day. but moving forward makes it less likely we miss our matriculation.
x-men: YES! Kelly Hu looks great in that role. That wolverine running up is staple. you know he's getting his own movie right? in talks. anyway, wolverine IS stubby, so they got that part right. Tres cool!!!

Third guy needs to lean more into the pose. He seems too calm to be in the middle of a firefight. I don't suggest Matrix leaning, but arcing the body backwards is good. Action poses are never easy.
Second guy's good, but did you expect any less?
Woman is weird. I think it's the monocle. After staring at the pic for a minute, and scanning it like I would a real person... yes, it's the monocle. Despite what Chong thinks, kudos on the realistic-looking breasts. Really. I like my women perky. Then again... I like my women to have breasts, so that's moot.
I'm not going to begin commenting on the first one.
Trip: I have now become strangely afraid of flying in the week of USA's Independence Day. I will probably get over this once I'm convinced that aliens aren't out to get us.
Snow: No, I don't think so. Then again, I've only been to the Gold Coast in winter and people were still surfin'.
Trailer: Shit, Kelly Hu IS Lady Deathstrike! X2 just got 200% cooler. Damn!

Fred asked Sara to marry him on during katsucon!!! That's so sweeet!!! Kawaii desu ka!!!!! Waaaaaiiiii!!!!
*ahem*
I am now man.
wwl: you need to hit 1000 on that quiz. try harder. use all that time you used to get G, H, I and Ws...
as for where we're going, it depends... we need to meet up first. anyway they say start of july is when the air tickets are the cheapest. They being Jack and Jack.
art: take first guy, remove tattoo, give scare, and round that chin, it's ben. where're his feet?
second guy: not too bad. does he have bed head? again, no feet.
third guy: one foot, partly hidded, an improvement. one of your bullet explosion thingies look a little off (the bottomest one) or else the pose is good.
fourth person: fugged up face, eyes, is that a monocle, and those breasts... are like from ep 5 of six feet under. They need catfood to balance them. Or else everything is fine save the extremely furry right arm she has. is that a weregirl? And yes, feet.
pete: perth.. does it snow? i'm looking for a revisit considering i haven't been there since primary 1? don't remember anything. heh.
pete: sounding like chong? wazzat supposed to mean?
sigh. need to get to know crazier people to get the crazy out of my life.
also: Xmen new trailer just out
if this doesn't make you wanna watch x men, nothing will. everything's cool! except for the cgi mystique and the super flying wolvie.

which means

b) we go somewhere, then to HK
c) we go somewhere, then to adelaide, then to HK
d) we go somewhere, then to somewhere
e) we go somewhere.
we need to meet up a day to discuss proper.

Ah, the Klingon mating ritual. Technically easier to pull off than waiting for a Vulcan pon farr. Had a little debate about the best female alien in Star Trek. I naturally stuck to Klingon women while some newbie trekkie weaned on Voyager and Star Trek suggested Vulcans and Borg. The joys of attaining a certain level of veteran-hood.

today I sent dale off... pete, sad you couldn't come. Also sent erika, Brian's GF, off. Seems like a nice girl now that I've actually got to hear her speak. Also experienced TC's and Brian's driving. And saw Julian. The horror. Oh, and Daniel Sun.
Dale and Pris are back together, long story. I don't know much. Did alex knock up a girl? Bad question to ask? Brian was saying that hey his little Wailiong has all grown up since i let slip you had a gf now. Don't worry, they don't know the name. Peace bros. Nice little chat with Brian, TC and Erika, nothing that will change the world or make it rotate on another axis, but this mindless fluff takes my mind off my mind. Tres cool. Grace room with me? I'll be all left feet for limbs. And a mouth apparently. Left foot in mouth syndrome, which kinda means all my limbs are in my mouth, and then some, while I dance the awkward rhumba.
oh, you know how it's like. I'm quite sure Pete knows how to handle himself around a lady, therefore making him the perfect choice! It's all common sense, really, or lack thereof.
My life, in it's ulitmate show of hand, has come full circle again. reminisce. dream. think. believe. hope. nightmare. insomnia. once again. Going back, once again, to what it was once before. perhaps. One day, in midst of the spring of my loneliness, began to think of love, and phlegm. Love, and how bitter it can be. Therefore, (ergo sum), lovespitlove. A quick search on kazaa brought me 3 songs. Fall on Tears was the one I was searching for. It is a classic at any rate.
The innocents? Did you really care? How could I even dare to run this thing on my own? That's just bullcrap. Not to be anal or nitpicky or anything, but yes, Starfish was always a bitch. But it all got to a point where you even didn't want to accept that, yes, there are times you are wrong, mod or not. I'm not sure why you lambasted her for nitpicking HK's post, and he for one sure thing didn't mind. But you did a lot, and... gah, I dunno. Who needs to pacify anybody's ego anyway. I hate myself.
shitfuckhate. sometimes you just feel so useless. a proxy for something better. the old rest stop by the long desert route, so others can pee. shitfucking pee really. or take a crap. it's up to them.
anyway, it's over, and most likely for good. put it behind us, move along now. please. please.

Accom in Adelaide is at most $30 a day? Aussie dollars, not too far from sing dollars. We're going budget all the way.
Yeah, start saving please. After my next batch of dvds i'm totally staying away.

And no, I don't think Chong was being serious... so don't worry.
"Fall on Tears"? Wasn't that an OLD theme of yours, Chong? Back in Sec Two or something?

here's the plan:
1) Singapore Airlines. Direct Flight. Lotsa fun on krisair, and you should be able to join the mile high club thanks to less turbulent steering. $800+
2) Malaysian Airlines. Flight to KL, then to Adelaide. Lousy flights, cheap price. $500+
3) Cathay Pacific: Flight to HK, then to Adelaide. Good flight, just longer. And comes with free 2 nights stay in HK. $700+
most slant towards 3 tho... except the scrimping couple. :Þ.
wwl--> if ees haldin' harns en ish sheen bah fuen, no shiee, kan kip haldin'. hehehehe... darn funny.

and yeah, so our trip will prob be shorter, but will spend 2-3 days in HK shopping and stuff. Cos at any rate adelaide is not too exciting. Vic's scrounging up some plans.

edit: for those who didn't receive or don't read their sms
We're aiming for a 2-4th july flight (arrive there 3rd-5th july) and arriving home about the 10th to 12th... 1 week there. This is to facilitate the returning home, with us, of victor.
However, we can always say "SCREW THAT!" and go earlier.

Other plans referring to that involving WL, WWW, En, Candice (2SC7), Abel, KS and myself.

hello on duty now.
what other plans?
will try to confirm with Sam's schedule too... looks like it's all go once we get the dates.
wwl: hmz.

Hmmmm.... since the other plans seem scrapped at the mo'.... yeah. Either Perth or Adelaide is fine with me, though actually having to be with Dale 24/7 is kinda difficult.

win a job at top cow!
a) Penciler based on a script, draw a few pages
b) Inker - Ink some scanned pages
c) Colourer - Colour fully inked and pencilled pages.
well, only American citizens can win it, but I think the (c) and (a) might make good practise...

crash?
actually, new options open up
a) Adelaide, Victor, possibly one of those cheaper hotels lah..
b) Perth, Dale, same as above...
don't believe anybody has a house, unless you wanna go to the USA or Canada, at which I think I can try to pull some strings.
so how? Dale or Victor?
We're just using them to show us around for a while, but otherwise we'll be on our own. Perth is more exciting, but it's dale.

just wondering.... would visiting Adelaide be ok with you guys while we clear leave?
WWL, that's where Victor is studying. And it's not THAT far, and not as expensive as, say, Canada or Antarctica. Pete? Wong? Anybody else you think will be interested?

hmz. I typed this out a little bit, then IE crashed, so there goes happy happy fun fun time.
*ahem* in short (didn't type very much yet, thankfully),
the girls. Well, you should know better than I do. And thus you should know better if what I said is off the mark or not.
lessee... how many times have you actually gambled? I'm probably wrong, but there's like Julie? And Mel? erm... hmz. Other than that, the rest of the girls who you knew you usually just stayed friends with them for fear of losing a good friendship or for fear of something else.
as for the other point. let's say you have an email correspondence with somebody. You eagerly wait for it, and reply, thoughtfully, as soon as possible. However, that person might either (a) take a long time to reply (b) never reply.
If (b) occurs, you send another mail, perhaps a few months down the line, asking how said person is...
the thing is, if you have to keep doing that, wouldn't it, in a sense, be only you really striving hard to continue that relationship? And when will person ever make the first move?

wong: drugs? I don't need drugs. Hmz, but I'd believe that Juish actually has a point, while I'm all smoke and mirrors. empty vessels make the most noise, but sometimes, if you put it to your ear, it can sound like the waves crashing in... pretty indeed.
wong: Grok. So you ate her already? ooooooooooooooooooooo-kay. A "deeper" understanding it is then. Going deep.
wong: ignore the previous line, I get what you mean.
wong: gambling man? isn't that what love makes us? Hmz... let's see... of all the girls we knew you liked, ignoring (sorry) grace... (that I know of)... 1 you jumped right in, 2/3 you maintained good close relationships but feared to take that extra step, for fear of getting burnt and the most dreaded FRIEND TALK. I'm probably wrong. I'm not saying that you're promising a breakup, it's just that, well, be careful what you promise at any rate... no, i wasn;t saying that either. erm. I was saying, yes you can promise to be friends forever, but why not promised to be in love forever? If you're gonna break the latter, what sanctity does the former have? But, then again, it's always easier to fall out of love, slowly, and surely drifting.
wong: pray explain, blogger doesn't have a word limit. This involves the autistic/dyslexic part. However, i do recognise some symptoms in me, but that's just me trying to find something special and tragic within.
wong: Glenn Hoddle, England Manager, hired Drewry, faith healer. He got sacked not long after the press complained. Instead of having a faith healer, why not just hire good physiotherapists and doctors? they require faith on your path, and at the same time, there's actual factual reasons behind it.
wong: in the personal life arena, i'd probably be the most selfish. I know, but I can't open up. Not me. Wong's read this before.
"you prefer to think things over all by yourself and you don't like people looking inside your head... You're used to thinking and acting alone. You figure that as long as you understand something, that's enough... And that makes me afraid. I feel abandoned"
- Haruki Murakami, "south of the border, west of the sun"s
kinda sums things up, sometimes.
pete: i just feel that place's too disorganised in some ways... but i guess it's a good place to find out stuff.
pete: Siti.... Nurhaliza? heh. That be an idol of me friend. The numbers keep changing lah... try the test again.
pete: Sometimes when a previously close friend suddenly stops conversing, it just feels empty. you can say "hello" on icq, and hope that the person replies something instead of somehow going straight to "away" mode. Happens to me all the time. You wonder if they care. And perhaps they do! Perhaps they just have something else that's more important than their current friendship. Maybe it's a good book. Maybe it's homework. maybe it's the fact that they forgot to put themselves on "away" while having dinner, and you, in your distraught self, left before they could say hi. Maybe it's love. usually it's love. but sometimes it's not. That's why I use "usually". Or perhaps you just aren't the friend to them you make yourself to be. if so, move on... move on. I've learnt to do that so many times. Also, you'll usually see me on invisible cos I usually just hate the smalltalk. But i guess people get insulted.
pete: GET MARRIED! GET KIDS! heh. I don't have that much pressure on my side, but my Grandpa wants to see his grandchildren and hold them. so... do you have a picture of your cousin we can post up?
pete: yes. you don't really like anime, except for those we don't really like (patlabor for eg) and AMVs... books... i remember borrowing hell of a lot of books at the MP library, and you'd do too. But what happened to that? And its "a heartbreaking work of staggering genius"
wong: too far too fast? come on... snails have mated at more regular intervals. but that's not my point. point is. you know you're going too far too fast when the other person suddenly stops responding, or responds differently from you. that's too far too fast. the 2 of you have to set your own pace. the reason why you and mel crashed and burnt is most likely cos the 2 of you were still noobs, and at the same time, the parent's teacher's association decided to act all high and mighty. Right now, you're actually older (since they actually ask you to get a GF already).
wong: heh heh *wryly*
wong: navin and merry-anne. ah... one wonders, if not for the family, would she still care for him? does she? blardy Cchoo haha...
wong: Maybe they think you're gay cos you draw. And not only do you draw, you also tend to draw skinny men you tend to look pretty. Sometimes such things worry them.
wong: no hurry. this is my 3rd fave of the 3 books i have of his anyway.
2 of ya: COMIC!!! sigh. what to do? prob have other things to say, oh but what the heck.

Navin and Marianne: I'm offended you're even comparing me to him... =P Uh.... Don't see the connection, though.

Grok: I use Everything2.com. It's a geek heaven, and my personal encyclopaedia. Hmmm. En.... Sorry, got... distracted. I know it's cheating, but well... I don't read much nowadays.
Personal Life: I got a wake-up call when I didn't even know my brother started working, a week after he did. So we talked, and then I realised my two closest friends don't really know what's going on in my life. So I blabbed. Blabbing is good.
Malay girl: Her name's Siti. And she hasn't mailed me since Chinese New Year. It's not even a week and I'm panicking. Shit. Not good. Met her on EmodeMatch, of all places. Apparently we had 100% compatibility, so she mailed first. After two weeks, she redoes the compatibility test, and so do I. Number drops to 65%. Go figure.
En: Spoke with her on Sunday. Asked her out to Candice's NUSjazz concert (at Candice's request, ironically) but she didn't want to go... homework, she said. At 9.30pm Monday night I message her and find out she's reading Sherlock Holmes and hasn't started work yet. Urgh. I wonder why she does this to me sometimes. I spoke to Candice the night before over ICQ... ranted that I could die and En wouldn't even know because she never checks up on me. Go figure.
Jealousy: Yeah well... it's been a while... and even I'm being "pressured" (jokingly, of course) by my cousins and aunties to get hitched. Go figure. I'd like to throw a spanner in the works by getting together with the daughter of my auntie from her first marriage (does that make her my cousin, even though we're not related by blood, I wonder.). Let's see if they want me hitched next year... heh. But she's a babe, though.... but anyway.
Books/Anime/AMVs: Among the three of us, I feel rather left out, often. But it's no one's fault, really. So don't worry. It's not as if I have nothing in common with you guys. Maybe I will read "Stranger in a Strange Land" one day, or "Perdido St. Station", or even "A Staggering Work of Unabashed Genius".

some things to add on before sleeping (early):
hope comic can come back on track on day, no need to apologise.
also, interesting to note that actually, we know very little of pete's personal perusals (ok, life). Kinda like what the Changkat Changi Chinese Chess Club Committee Co-Chairman Cletus Christopher Chang Chee Chong said, "Can we forget about all that alliteration?"
Hmz... well, Pete, it's good to know at least you're talking to a girl and trying to be totally platonic about it (am I saying something wrong here)... which also begs the question (AH-HA! The tables have turned! Now something else is doing the juggling act with clogs and harmonicas) how did you 2 meet? Or am I digging too far in?
WWL: still somewhat uncomfortable with comparison of status of companionship and what lies beyond. It's really a totally different ballgame, what with the two of you actually being able to talk it all out while trying to distract oneself from one's reptilian roots (and snakeskin boots) and thus lasting about 5 hours. Different... it's something that I shan't elaborate on, but at least it makes you happy.
Also, conversation would never have happened if Grace was awake ainnit so?
Have probably more to say, but shall end off by telling you guys that i've edited my site somewhat. looksee. formatting getting V. Bad.
Alvin once again rubbing people like cheap erasers.

now that's interesting.
"Make no small plans, for they have no magic to stir men's souls."
- Daniel Burnham
do you want to touch? or do you just want to see? think big and you fall. but my bones (free of the evil calcium) shall never break.
what point am i making? once again, think back to what I represent: absolutely nothing. cherries for all.
If you love someone, you'd need to hear from someone each and every day, mostly. it might slow down (it usually does), but i mean, i type emails or the time, or posts, and sometimes they just get ignored or unreplied. I've totally learnt to live with it, it seems to be something to do with me perhaps (1001 email correspondences, forum threads and blog posts have died on my part. maybe more, most likely more).
Jealous? You needn't be. That's the worst reason ever to fall in love. It's like you're saying hey! I need to be in love! and then go out searching for it. It looks for you, hunts for you. You can avoid it, or you can (un)willingly be ensnared.
GROK? WTF IS A GROK? SOMEBODY HAS TO TELL ME. (voice then echoes in timeless chasm of forgetten lines. Good thing I capitalised my main point for post)
Also, sure, promise to be friends. Why not promise to not screw things up? I mean... you can try to be true to promises but since screwing up _might_ entail somesort of broken promise, what's the worth of keeping the others?
Shared experience. That's how people bond. I wouldn't see how otherwise. Especially in the realm of romance. I mean, how can you expect a fraction of affection from a stranger who shares totally nothing in common with you, hasn't gone thru a single bit of what you've ever experienced or ever dreamt? That's not love. it might be lust tho. And if it's love, it's like lightning striking the same spot 69 times. Ah, 69. People still bond from global events. Look at jihads. Not global enough for you? It's just that the world has got bigger, and perhaps some of our thoughts have gotten smaller, less global, more ME. But not point. Point is yes, so many things in the world to bond over. Even handphone brands or types of socks worn. Weirder than trek comics and books? Perhaps.
All dyslexic? As in everybody in the world or just us? <-------------- question begs to be answered.
Pete: Still thinking about En? Or Malay girl? make up your mind! Still, WTF IS A GROK? <---- question is currently on the streets playing a musical instrument in the vain hope it'll be answered.
Cookie cutter people in a cookie cutter world. some were baked too close to the fire, some weren't mixed right. But they're from the same mould, the same batch.
Hope and pray? Why don't you act upon it? Look where Drewry got Hoddle.

Brusque? Oh, no no no... I'm disappointed that she hasn't mail in 2 days, though, but I'm not being desperate here... am I?
No, I'm not converting. I know that and she knows that. Sad, though... I always thought I'd marry my first girlfriend... funny, though... if she never becomes my girlfriend, that's still valid.
I am jealous that my older cousins are all attached though. Most of them at least, though it's sad to see some of them come alone after being attached for a couple of years.
Happy New Year all.
